Description

The CLA-VAL 91-01 is designed to reduce a high pressure (P1) and, when a pressure reversal occurs (P2 > P1), to prevent backflow through the valve.
Typical backflow occurs when the valve is installed on a pipe line linking two separate distribution systems and upstream system pressure P1 drops.

Feeding lines to high-rise buildings need also check features to prevent reverse flow.
